Suede is not a waterproof leather. If you do not properly protect your suede items

Proper care and protection is a must when you purchase expensive suede boots and shoes.
Prior to wearing the boots or shoes it is very important to spray on a protective product &
then allow the spray to completely dry. A second coat of the protective spray is a very good
idea especially if you live in an area that is prone to inclimate weather. It is also important
to repeat the process at the beginning of each winter to insure proper protection.

There are many different suede care products on the market today that are relatively
inexpensive and dry very fast. The spray on products do not stain the suede but act as
a barrior against water or any fluid that could be spilled or dripped onto the boots or
shoes.

It is also a good idea to give your suede boots a good brushing once or twice a month.
If you wear your boots daily and want them to stay in GREAT condition you may want
to brush them more often. Suede brushes are not very expensive but will add years to
your boots.

Some of the Earth Shoe Boots are made of a faux suede and some are real suede. The
suede spray on protector will not damage the faux suede. But will act as a barrier to protect

colorful, they can be highly sensitive to water and spills. It is very important to

dancers to make quick moves on the dance floor. Suede soles can glaze and get
sticky. It is important to use a suede brush on the sole before and after each dance
session to prolong the life of dance shoes.
